How to Keep Your Water CleanUpdated a year ago

First of all, to keep your Ice Bath Max as clean as possible, we recommend rinsing off before entering the Ice Bath, as well as cleaning all the sides of the Ice Bath Max after a water change.

Simply use a bit of cleanser and a brush to clean the sides and the bottom. Once done fill the Ice Bath Max with clean water and you are set.

Keeping your water clean requires three things:

  1. Circulation

  2. Filtration

  3. Sanitation

To maintain your water clean for long periods of time, you need to add a stabilizer to the water. Specifically we recommend getting chlorine-free food grade hydrogen peroxide based stabilizer.

This is scientifically engineered to clean, treat, balance, and condition your Ice Bath water and is non-toxic, odorless, and gentle on the skin/environment.

For Weekly Maintenance, add the required amount of peroxide in the regular maintenance table matching your tub size, and wipe down the sides of the your tub with a brush or rag. We recommend doing this once a week.

Please refer to the tables below for amounts needed.

These are estimates based on the information provided. Add more or less based on the ppm and quality of water.

Notes

1. After shocking the water, always wait 24 hours before getting in.

2. Always use H2O2 test strips to ensure the proper amount of H2O2.

3. Hydrogen peroxide levels should run between 30 and 100 ppm.

  • If the levels are below 30 ppm when testing, add hydrogen peroxide at a rate of 1 cup 35 percent food grade hydrogen peroxide per 500 gallons of water.

  • Circulate and let stand several hours before testing after adding hydrogen peroxide.

Just don't use bromine, chlorine or Epsom salts, as the Ice Bath Max isn't fit for these strong chemicals/ the pump is not meant to pump salt particles.
