My Pro 1.0 chiller won't cool past a certain temperatureUpdated a year ago

If your Pro 1.0 chiller is suddenly having issues running,  won't cool past a certain temperature, and/or is louder than usual, it is critical to contact us with evidence so we can swiftly assist you in resolving the matter. A video demonstrating the issue will enable us to accurately assess the situation and provide the most effective solution. However, here are some proactive steps you can take in the meantime.

The most common problem is an clogged mesh filter. If the mesh filter is dirty or clogged it will cause the water flow to be disrupted, in turn causing the system to not cool effectively. On average, mesh filters need to be cleaned on a weekly basis. To access the mesh filter, access the Metal Filter Housing connected to the Red 'Water In' port on the Pro chiller. After you unscrew the Metal Filter Housing, you will find the mesh filter. Check whether it needs to be cleaned.

If the mesh filter is completely clean, another potential issue is an overused micron filter. If the filter is dirty, clogged, or overused, it will cause the water flow to be disrupted, and in some cases, signal the chiller to shut down. On average, micron filters last from 1 to 1.5 months before they need to be changed. If the condition is in the “Replace” range (see image below), or if the flow is very low, then replace the filter with a new one. To access the Water Filter, turn the Lower Water Filter Housing to the left. When changing the filter, empty water from Lower Water Filter Housing fully and refill up to the top with fresh water.

In cases where units are found to need further troubleshooting, we will guide you through the process, or have you return the unit for repairs or replacements if needed. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your complete satisfaction and is here to support you every step of the way.
